The horticulture exhibit is one of the original events that Navajo fair visitors came to see and enter. Today, the event includes produce, crops and flowers to be judged for cash prizes and awards from first place to third place. Categories include: Top Farmer and Gardener, Floral Arrangement, Fruit and Vegetable Basket, Creative Display, Hay/Corn stock. How to enter: Entries will be taken September 6-7, 2006, beginning at 9:00am to 8:00pm at Nakai Hall in Window Rock and 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Irrigation Offices at Shiprock, NM and Many Farms, AZ. Friday 9.8 : 10am-2pm Judging of all Entries. Winners may pick up premiums. Displays will be open to the public Saturday 9.9 : Displays will be open to the public Sunday 9.10: Farmers Market begins at 10:00am View the showcase of Navajo grown produce and flowers.
