The Song and Dance event showcases traditional Navajo songs and dances that originated from healing ceremonies.

The Song and Dance Competition judges the attire of the dancers, from their jewelry, to dress and moccasins, including type of dance, the two-step or skip dance.

There are four age categories: Senior citizen, adult, youth, and tiny tots.

The Navajo Nation Fair is not responsible for any accidents, no drugs, no alcohol permitted.
